There was a time when I had solid entries… but inconsistent results.
Not because my strategy didn’t work.
But because I was applying it in average conditions.
That’s the part most traders skip.
They focus on how to enter…
…but not when it’s worth entering at all.
That’s where everything changed for me.
I introduced a non-negotiable filter:
ALCAM — Alignment. Location. Confirmation. Momentum.
This isn’t a new strategy.
This is the gatekeeper.
And once I started applying it, something clicked…
My BRACE and ACE entries didn’t change—
but the quality of my trades did.
ALCAM: The Filter That Comes Before the Entry
Before I even think about BRACE or ACE, I run every setup through ALCAM.
If it doesn’t pass?
It doesn’t get traded.
Simple as that.
A — Alignment (The Foundation)
Both the 4H and 1H must be:
- Overbought → Sell bias
- Oversold → Buy bias
This is what keeps me from trading against pressure.
Because let’s be honest…
A beautiful entry in the wrong environment is still a losing trade waiting to happen.
No alignment = No trade.
L — Location (The Setup Zone)
Now I drop to the 1H and ask:
Is price at a level that actually matters?
I’m looking for:
- Previous Daily highs/lows
- Previous Weekly highs/lows
- Higher timeframe EMA zones
This is where most traders get fooled.
They take clean-looking entries… in the middle of nowhere.
I don’t.
If price isn’t at a level where institutions are likely to react…
I pass.
C — Confirmation (The Trigger)
Now I let the market speak.
On the 1H, I wait for a clear confirmation candle:
- Strong rejection wick
- Engulfing structure
- Clean bullish or bearish close
This is where BRACE and ACE come alive.
Because both of those methods rely on one thing:
👉 Confirmation after structure
But here’s the difference now…
I’m not just taking confirmation anywhere.
I’m taking it only after Alignment and Location are already in place.
That’s the upgrade.
M — Momentum (The Final Check)
Now I bring in the 10 EMA.
- Price crossed in my direction → I can enter
- No cross yet → I wait
This step confirms that momentum has shifted.
And this is where most early entries get exposed.
Without momentum, confirmation can fail.
With momentum?
Now the trade has fuel behind it.
How ALCAM Transforms BRACE & ACE into A+ Setups
Let’s be real…
BRACE and ACE are already solid entry models.
- BRACE = Break → Retest → Confirm Entry
- ACE = Assess → Confirm → Execute
But here’s the truth most traders don’t want to admit:
👉 Even a great entry model will fail in poor conditions.
That’s where ALCAM comes in.
It ensures that every BRACE or ACE entry you take is:
- In aligned market conditions (A)
- At a meaningful level (L)
- With clear confirmation (C)
- Backed by real momentum (M)
When all four are present?
You’re no longer taking “good trades.”
You’re taking A+ trades.
One Key Insight (Don’t Miss This)
By the time momentum confirms with the 10 EMA…
The stochastic on the 1H may no longer be overbought or oversold.
That’s fine.
Because its job was never to time the entry.
Its job was to give you alignment at the start.
From there, you transition into:
- Structure
- Reaction
- Confirmation
- Momentum
Final Thoughts
ALCAM didn’t replace my strategy.
It refined it.
It forced discipline.
It eliminated noise.
And it made my entries more intentional.
Now when I take a trade using BRACE or ACE…
I already know it’s been qualified before it was executed.
That’s the difference.
What’s Next
I’ll be breaking this entire process down live in my upcoming Zoom masterminds—walking through real chart examples so you can see exactly how ALCAM filters and confirms high-probability setups in real time.
Because once you see it on the charts…
You won’t be able to unsee it.
